To kick start a long weekend we decide to treat ourselves to a mean dinner. For us, this means cheap, fulfilling, hearty and grubby. He’s been wanting to go to The Dip since my first visit nearly 18 months ago because I didn’t go with him – errrr oops? =P
And there’s another ramen place to visit in our lovely city of Sydney. Ramen Zundo isn’t new to the scene, it’s actually been around for well over a year now but I’ve only just been able to make the visit.
The restaurant is tucked away in one of the lane ways and entrances to the World Square Shopping Centre.
Parlour Lane Roasters is located right in the heart of the city on Market Street, next to the State Theatre (opposite the Swiss Hotel). By day it is a cafe; by evening and into the night it operates as a wine bar. It’s the perfect location for a coffee run before work or a quick cafe lunch drop in or a drink after a hard day at work.
It’s been a busy couple months at work and we decided we needed a team outing since it doesn’t happen often at all. Combined with birthdays, farewells and welcoming new starters, it was the perfect excuse to treat ourselves to a fancy lunch.
Masuya Japanese is located on O’Connell Street in the heart of Sydney.
