Despite what some of my instagram uploads may imply, I’m actually all for the easy and simple recipes. Minimal ingredients and one bowl wonders sure have my utmost attention.
Who doesn’t want to indulge in a mini choc chip muffin.. or several for that matter?
No flour. No sugar. No butter.

The Sweet Swap is new online event hosted by Amanda and Sara where treats are baked and swapped (sent via post) to other food blogger participants. This is the first year this event has rolled out (and let’s hope this is the first of many years to come). All proceeds for registering go to ChildFund Australia.
Happy 25th Birthday to my amazing other half, who is the best eating companion anyone could ask for :D
He doesn’t know it yet but I baked him a vanilla butter cake with lemon buttercream frosting. It was my first attempt at doing ombre icing and I’m quite happy with it, but it’s far from perfect. Perhaps I should google some ombre icing tips next time, though I know I can hold my head up high for the fact I did it on my own ;)
Can’t wait to dig in tonight!! =D
As some of you already know, I’m quite the fitness freak when I’m not at work or when in the kitchen. Eating clean (well, half the time) and training hard are my main goals for 2013 and so far so good. Biggie and I are always trying to mix up our breakfasts, lunches and snacks to maintain our goals. I came across the idea of protein balls from an old primary school friend and was determined to make them myself. Google really is your best friend.
It’s ever so close to Christmas now with only 3 sleeps to go. I can hear Santa’s sleigh bells ringing. I really do love the festive season and celebrating with my family and friends make it all the more fun. The Christmas celebrations have already started. Woo hoo.
