A few short hours after landing in Melbourne we make our way to Mamasita for our first feed in this city. You could say I had an eating itinerary so watch this space for some of my Melbourne eats to come. We’ve always had a soft spot for Mexican so thought it’d be a great way to start our trip.
Located on York Street, Double Barrel is in a prime location for those who work around Wynard and a great meeting point for a coffee break and/or lunch spot. Working in the city means I can take advantage of these great little finds (when the opportunity arises of course).
After the excitement from posting about my first hit of a Sydney Food Truck – Cantina Mobil – it took me no time to hunt (or stalk rather) another established truck. Actually, it was just perfect timing that Eat Art Truck was going to be nearby work and with it being EOFY peak period at the moment why not reward myself with a treat for dinner! I must say thanks goes to @SydneyFoodTruck for their food truck location and time updates!
I wanted to squeeze a short and quick post before Winter officially kicks in! I honestly can’t believe we’re nearly at that time of year already. bitemeshowme also turns 1 next month – how exciting! Anyways, so for lunch today (yes lunch today, and that’s how eagar I am to blog about this) I had an awesome burger thanks to Raff and his recommendation! Take one look at the picture and I bet your mouth will fill up slowly with some drool…….
