This is my 3rd visit to LA since 2005 and I fall in love the city more and more each time. This trip we found ourselves doing things we’d normally wouldn’t/never be able to do.
Taste of Sydney 2013
18 MarIt’s that time of the year again where participating restaurants put on offer a couple of dishes that gives you a tiny snapshot of what they serve up, thus the name ‘Taste’ of Sydney. This annual food festival was located at Centennial Park which was operating from March 14 to 17. Sydney definitely produced some very fine weather for the attendees.
That’s a Wrap of 2012
31 DecI cannot believe that we are here again saying goodbye to another year and welcoming a new one. 2012 went by so very quickly that I find it hard to believe I’m doing a recap… already! Last year I did a highlight of each month but I thought to take a slightly different approach this time. This food blog may be predominantly restaurant review orientated but I am taking a few steps back to where it all came from and what has made me appreciate food over the years is as simple as the food I have been served up at home.
MoVida, Sydney
21 NovMoVida has expanded and finally made its way to Sydney and found a home in Surry Hills. You can hear just about every Sydney-sider cheering because now there is no need for a trip to Melbourne to get a dose of Frank Camorra. I’ve not been to any MoVida locations in Melbourne so was very excited to try the one in Sydney, 6 weeks after the opening.
From Sacramento to Los Angeles, USA
12 NovTraveling between cities sure can get exhausting but you get caught up in the holiday excitement that keeps you going. Not only is it the things you get to see and do, but I think the eating adventures are just as fun and equally important. See what we got up to traveling from Sacramento to LA in just one day…..
IHOP – International House of Pancakes
30 Hours in San Francisco, California – USA
8 NovWhile trying to plan an overseas holiday you will find there’s just not enough time to see everything, to do everything, to eat everything you want to. Sadly for us, San Francisco wasn’t a city we were able to explore immensely. We were lucky enough to visit the city not just once but twice though, but both as day trips.
