I was lucky enough to be invited by Holy Basil to sample some of the new menu items which the restaurant has just rolled out early October 2013. It’s been nearly 4 years since Holy Basil have opened and my first visit, and 2 since my first blog post. Time sure does fly!
I love getting home from work when the sun is still out. Summer makes that real easy. It’s a gorgeous evening to be heading out and about for a week night dinner so we head somewhere local to make the most of the day light.
Sometimes there are places you drive by all the time that people have mentioned to you before but it’s always gone unnoticed. The boy and I jump into the car and take off to destination unknown. We cruise in the car and quickly decide we’re going to Green Peppercorn but whilst on the way, we drove past Star Lao-Thai Restaurant, and well, we do a U-turn and have a new place for dinner.
Holy Basil has been opened for over 2 years now and it’s success has just continued to soar. Every time I drive past, no matter if it is a weekday or weekend, there is a long line of customers waiting to get seated (sometimes I think it’s quite ridiculous).
