Red Pepper, Strathfield

18 Apr

Another Korean post. I’m completely guilty of indulging in more than my fair of korean fried chicken lately. I partially blame the boy – what he craves is what we eat. I was a little bit unprepared these couple of trips so excuse the lack of information provided. Tucked away within Strathfield Sports Club (next door to the Tennis Courts) is Red Pepper.

NaruOne, Sydney

15 Apr

I’ve been obsessed about Korean food lately and with all the chit chat about some fried chicken going on it was very hard not to want to visit this place. Admittedly, I’ve visited NaruOne three times in 2 months (what? :P) and something definitely has me hooked!

La Grilla, Canley Heights

4 Apr

As mentioned in an earlier post there’s been a few places that have opened up recently at Canley Heights near Holy Basil and well, being a local I can’t help but want to give the new places a go. Whilst waiting for the boy to finish a long day at work, we just wanted a local fix for dinner. We found parking right in front of La Grilla so thought why not since we’ve had this obsession with Korean food lately.

Moodaepo II, Los Angeles – California, USA

1 Apr

I’ve never been a fan of buffet places because I can never seem to eat my money’s worth! As I am holidays, I let loose and want to eat anything and everything. One of my cousins is a big fan of Korean BBQ so he organises a dinner for us Aussie tourists. It probably wasn’t the best idea with a wedding a few days later, but nonetheless we go anyways.

Bon Gal Bi, Strathfield

4 Jan

To me, Strathfield is one of those suburbs that is always buzzing from dinner time until late at night, especially now with the many frozen yoghurt joints as a go to place for dessert. I can’t even keep up with how many froyo places there are (and in the one block!). It surely is a huge craze. Hanging with another couple, we wander the Strathfield streets and randomly end up at Bon Gal Bi Korean BBQ Restaurant on Churchill Avenue.
