We had ONE dinner reservation during our stay in Hawaii and that was at Alan Wong’s. There was no real reason but to just enjoy the final days of our vacation.
I may have had a whole list of places to eat in Hawaii but because we were so relax and chill, it didn’t bother me if we went to all or none of the restaurants. A mid morning walk around Waikiki sees us coincidentaly walking passed Eggs ‘n Things, a place Maria had highly recommended.
Looking back at old photos always brings back good memories. The other week I was flicking through some photos from my Euro Trip 2011 adventure and I realise it’s been almost 2 years. Sigh. As a way of reminiscing (yet again), I’ve decided to do a couple more posts on it, but this time including some of my food experiences.
This is my 3rd visit to LA since 2005 and I fall in love the city more and more each time. This trip we found ourselves doing things we’d normally wouldn’t/never be able to do.
A few short hours after landing in Melbourne we make our way to Mamasita for our first feed in this city. You could say I had an eating itinerary so watch this space for some of my Melbourne eats to come. We’ve always had a soft spot for Mexican so thought it’d be a great way to start our trip.
This was one dinner that was planned from the get go, and the only dinner booked in for us whilst in LA. My cousin has told me all about it for the longest time and I was super excited to finally get the chance to go. It wasn’t just because he said so, but it was what was on the menu (which changes seasonally) that had my eyes popping out of my head.
