The Merrywell, Southbank VIC

We head towards the Crown Casino and stroll along the Southbank Promenade. It’s been 3 years since my last visit and it was amazing to see all the restaurants that are now operating. From high end restaurants, to casual dining to cafes – it caters for a range of diners. The boy opts for The Merrywell for dinner as the American inspired menu wins him over.

La Mono, Merrylands

After a session of training and running a muck on the field, a group of us toss up between El Jannah and La Mono for a fix of charcoal chicken and garlic sauce (best reward ever, right?). Purely because of our location, we head to La Mono for the convenience. Afterall, we were just down the road.

Red Pepper, Strathfield

Another Korean post. I’m completely guilty of indulging in more than my fair of korean fried chicken lately. I partially blame the boy – what he craves is what we eat. I was a little bit unprepared these couple of trips so excuse the lack of information provided. Tucked away within Strathfield Sports Club (next door to the Tennis Courts) is Red Pepper.

I’ve been obsessed about Korean food lately and with all the chit chat about some fried chicken going on it was very hard not to want to visit this place. Admittedly, I’ve visited NaruOne three times in 2 months (what? :P) and something definitely has me hooked!

Barney’s Beanery, Santa Monica – California, USA

After my second trip to San Fran, we head back to LA to spend the week with family before the big wedding. We get picked up from LAX and head to Santa Monica to meet up with the rest of the gang for some nibblies.

Golden King 2000, Green Valley

Do you have a go to restaurant that is a favourite amongst the family? I think my family may have just found another to add to our list – Golden King 2000, a Chinese restaurant located in Green Valley (Sydney South West). We recently paid a visit for my birthday in December and again a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my parent’s wedding anniversary.
