A free Saturday calls me rounding up some of my girls for a much needed catch up. Being the undecisive bunch of ladies we are, I go ahead and suggest a couple places. A trek to Surry Hills is always on the cards, but it’s just a matter of where. Decisions, decisions. And the winner is Orto Trading Co.!
Home Cafe, Chinatown
19 DecA glorious summer day calls for a lunch time walk to Chinatown to one of the new kids on the block. We make our way to Home Cafe (Wine Bar) which is one of 3 Home establishments (Home Thai and Home Cafe, QVB)
The Grounds of Alexandria, Alexandria
13 DecFinally, I make a trip to The Grounds of Alexandria, something I’ve been wanting to do for months now! I don’t often get the chance to drive up to these Eastern suburbs as it is quite a trek for me but I was so excited for this to happen and of course I was going to make the most of it.
Reuben Hills, Surry Hills
18 OctA short break from my USA travels – perhaps it’s nice to post about something accessible here in Sydney (haha). It’s always good to change things up a little anyways. A sunny Sunday afternoon brings us to Reuben Hills in Surry Hills. It’s a real shame that I don’t get to go out to Surry Hills more often. I know there is so much on offer and my to go list is as long as ever right now.
Copo Cafe & Diner, Drummoyne
25 JunAfter a glorious Sunday morning run on the route of The Bay Run (more details shortly) we treat ourselves to a well deserved brunch, which is my favorite meal of the day, at a nearby cafe referred to by the oh so lovely Maria :)
