A free Saturday calls me rounding up some of my girls for a much needed catch up. Being the undecisive bunch of ladies we are, I go ahead and suggest a couple places. A trek to Surry Hills is always on the cards, but it’s just a matter of where. Decisions, decisions. And the winner is Orto Trading Co.!
Home Cafe, Chinatown
19 DecA glorious summer day calls for a lunch time walk to Chinatown to one of the new kids on the block. We make our way to Home Cafe (Wine Bar) which is one of 3 Home establishments (Home Thai and Home Cafe, QVB)
The Grounds of Alexandria, Alexandria
13 DecFinally, I make a trip to The Grounds of Alexandria, something I’ve been wanting to do for months now! I don’t often get the chance to drive up to these Eastern suburbs as it is quite a trek for me but I was so excited for this to happen and of course I was going to make the most of it.
From Sacramento to Los Angeles, USA
12 NovTraveling between cities sure can get exhausting but you get caught up in the holiday excitement that keeps you going. Not only is it the things you get to see and do, but I think the eating adventures are just as fun and equally important. See what we got up to traveling from Sacramento to LA in just one day…..
IHOP – International House of Pancakes
Fortune8 Chinese Restaurant, Cabramatta
5 NovDim Sum? Yum Cha? Same thing, right? Which ever you like to call it, there are so many places out there and everybody has different favourites. I have been eating yum cha (yes this is how I know it to be) for as long as I can remember. It’s the perfect meal to share with family, and with my family being ever so big, it’s always a great way to catch up over good food.
