Quick Eats in Los Angeles, USA

8 May

This is my 3rd visit to LA since 2005 and I fall in love the city more and more each time. This trip we found ourselves doing things we’d normally wouldn’t/never be able to do.

Orto Trading Co, Surry Hills

8 Apr

A free Saturday calls me rounding up some of my girls for a much needed catch up. Being the undecisive bunch of ladies we are, I go ahead and suggest a couple places. A trek to Surry Hills is always on the cards, but it’s just a matter of where. Decisions, decisions. And the winner is Orto Trading Co.!

The Grounds of Alexandria, Alexandria

Finally, I make a trip to The Grounds of Alexandria, something I’ve been wanting to do for months now! I don’t often get the chance to drive up to these Eastern suburbs as it is quite a trek for me but I was so excited for this to happen and of course I was going to make the most of it.

Johnny Barr’s, New Zealand

2 May

Another post on Queenstown. This time, we were on a quest for a decent place to have breakfast. Sadly we didn’t have very many options. There weren’t many cafes overall but the ones we wanted to go to were either not opened yet or was closed for a private function (there was much disappointment!). We ventured across town which took a mere 5-10 minutes and came across Queenstown’s first and only gourmet sandwich bar – Johnny Barr’s.
