This is my 3rd visit to LA since 2005 and I fall in love the city more and more each time. This trip we found ourselves doing things we’d normally wouldn’t/never be able to do.
The Merrywell, Southbank VIC
6 MayWe head towards the Crown Casino and stroll along the Southbank Promenade. It’s been 3 years since my last visit and it was amazing to see all the restaurants that are now operating. From high end restaurants, to casual dining to cafes – it caters for a range of diners. The boy opts for The Merrywell for dinner as the American inspired menu wins him over.
All About The Bread, West Hollywood – California, USA
11 AprI love days when on vacation where there are zero plans. Going with the flow definitely makes you feel somewhat of a local. Los Angeles is one of my favourite destinations, despite a lot (like, a lot) of others not enjoying it at all. I have to admit it is because I have quite a bit of family in LA so the company is just awesome. There’s plenty of them to take me around, especially to those places that only locals would know about.
42 hours in Las Vegas, California
6 FebI have to be completely honest with you. Eating was not on the agenda during my weekend bender in Las Vegas. Despite there being a ridiculous amount of things that were on my to eat list, it wasn’t a priority this time around. It was all about the fun and spending time with my oh so awesome family.
