Aqua Ombre Birthday Cake

14 Mar

Happy 25th Birthday to my amazing other half, who is the best eating companion anyone could ask for :D

Ombre Cake

He doesn’t know it yet but I baked him a vanilla butter cake with lemon buttercream frosting. It was my first attempt at doing ombre icing and I’m quite happy with it, but it’s far from perfect. Perhaps I should google some ombre icing tips next time, though I know I can hold my head up high for the fact I did it on my own ;)

Can’t wait to dig in tonight!! =D

The lemon adds a bit of zing and cuts back the sweetness! Definitely will be making that again

Thanks lovely. It’s not too hard. Just requires some time and loving. You would have no issues with your skills x
