The Dip @ Goodgod Small Club, Sydney

16 May

The Dip, popular for its canteen type food. You know it! I think it’s time I let the photos speak for itself. I mean I could ramble on and on but really, we all know that photos are what makes us drool and what makes us want to go to places that bloggers blog about. I am guilty of doing that (sometimes) but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that! :D

The Dip

The Dip is a dining section that’s part of the Goodgod Small Club. It’s dark but has such a warm atmosphere.

The Dip - Pulled Pork Nachos

Pulled Pork Nachos $15

Crunchy corn chips, melt in your mouth 12 hour smoked pork, pinto beans, salsa, jalapeno cream, cheese, bbq sauce and herbs.

The Dip - Lev Dawg

Lev’s Dawg $12

Smoked kosher hot dog with chipotle mayo, tomato salsa, grilled capsicum and american mustard on a steamed bun.

The Dip - Young Cheezy

Young Cheezy Burger $12

An american type cheeseburger on a steamed bun with pickles, onions, mustard and sauce. A special burger that was made permanent on the menu!

The Dip - Young Cheezy

Young Cheezy Innards

The Dip - Hot Wings

Hot Wings $10

Red hot chicken wings with ranch. I didn’t find it spicy at all!

The Dip - Grilled Corn

Grilled Corn $8

Served with lime mayo and chipotle salt. So simple. SO GOOD! And we only paid $3 as it was the side special for that evening. Side specials are $3 every thursday. Note it is a different side every week.

The Dip - Chilli Fries

Chilli Fries $??

Thick cut steak fries topped with beef chili and white cheese. This isn’t on the menu online so I’m not sure if this is staying for good or not. But you NEED to eat this. It is ridiculously good.

Okay so it was very hard to just leave this as a photo post because the food here is just too awesome. I definitely recommend the pulled pork nachos, chilli fries and grilled corn. I could eat those 3 things all day longgggggggggg. I seriously cannot wait to go back.

It’s hard living out so far from the city just to make the trek isn’t it? Maybe stop by when you’re in the city next?

    Dear Tina,

I’m a fan of hot dogs and the Lev’s Dawg looks pretty delicious with the English mustard.
